A fiesta will take place in the South Cape this weekend, where attendees can find tasty bites and delicious drinks paying homage to Mexican heritage.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The third annual \u201cCinco de Drinko,\u201d put on by the\u00a0South Cape Hospitality and Entertainment Association\u00a0takes place this Saturday from 7 to 11 p.m.<\/p>\n
This Cinco de Mayo-themed pub crawl offers festive drink and appetizer samples in the Cape\u2019s entertainment district at various participating locations.<\/p>\n
\u201cCinco de Drinko turns flavors people already love into a full experience,\u201d said SCHEA owner David Delli Paoli. \u201cYou\u2019re not just going to one place, you\u2019re exploring multiple stops, each with its own creative twist. And every ticket supports families in need through the Santa Life Foundation, so it\u2019s fun with a purpose.\u201d<\/p>\n
Limo buses will be available to take crawlers to four designated areas, where they can walk to the 13 participating locations.<\/p>\n
A ticket includes a wristband for event access and transportation, a passport of locations, a drink and appetizer sample at each establishment, entry into the photo booth contest and access to the official photo booth at Dolphin Key Resort.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Those that get their passport stamped at each location will be entered into the grand prize drawing.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Guests are also encouraged to dress festively for the photo booth contest. The wining photo will receive four tickets to SCHEA\u2019s South Cape Red, White, and Booze Pub Crawl on June 27.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt completely changes the energy,\u201d Delli Paoli said of attendees dressing up. \u201cWhen people show up ready to celebrate, they create a lively, social atmosphere that makes the whole event feel like one big party.\u201d<\/p>\n
Delli Paoli said it\u2019s always fun to see what each establishment concocts to fit the theme.\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s one of the highlights,\u201d he said. \u201cEach spot brings its own personality, from traditional flavors to really unexpected creations. It turns the crawl into a tasting adventure.\u201d<\/p>\n

Delli Paoli added that these pub crawl events are a great way for attendees to experience not just a great night out, but maybe find a new favorite spot.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Regular check-in runs from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at either Big John\u2019s Plaza (near Pinch-a-Penny) and Dolphin Key Resort (under the entry awning).<\/p>\n
Late check-in runs until 10 p.m. at Dolphin Key Resort (under the front entry awning).<\/p>\n
This is a 21-plus event. Valid ID at check-in will be required, per ticket. You cannot pick up wristbands for other people.<\/p>\n
Tickets are $25 in advance, and $30 for day-of, if available. Designated Driver tickets are $20. All tickets can be purchased online via\u00a0Eventbrite.\u00a0<\/p>\n
