The Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre will hold auditions for its 2026-2027 Off-Broadway Palm season on\u00a0Sunday, May 3, from 1-5 p.m.<\/p>\n
This audition call is for\u00a0local, adult actors\u00a0who have housing in the Southwest Florida area.<\/p>\n
Casting is currently underway for all roles in the following productions:<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cThe Shark Is Broken\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cThe Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cThe Cottage\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cThe Marvelous Wonderettes\u201d<\/p>\n
\u2022 \u201cThe Wild Women of Winedale\u201d<\/p>\n
Auditioners should prepare a\u00a0comedic monologue\u00a0for all productions. Those interested in\u00a0\u201cThe Marvelous Wonderettes\u201d\u00a0or\u00a0\u201cThe Great American Trailer Park Christmas Musical\u201d should also prepare a\u00a016-bar vocal cut\u00a0with an MP3 track in the style of the shows.<\/p>\n
Auditions will take place at the Broadway Palm, which is at 1380 Colonial Blvd., between McGregor Boulevard and Summerlin Road, in Fort Myers.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Actors auditioning\u00a0for straight plays only\u00a0will be scheduled between\u00a01-2:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Actors auditioning\u00a0for both plays and musicals\u00a0will be scheduled between\u00a02:30-4 p.m.<\/p>\n
Callbacks, consisting of cold readings, will be held from\u00a04-5 p.m. or later in the month as needed.<\/p>\n
