(WCTV) &#8211; WCTV\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/pbjplz\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/pbjplz\/\">10th annual PBJ PLZ! <\/a>donation drive wrapped up on Thursday! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The month-long drive has raised more than $66,000!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">The drive collects jars of peanut butter and jelly as well as monetary donations to help hungry children and their families during the summer months.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">PBJ PLZ! is a collaboration among WCTV, Leon County Schools and Second Harvest of the Big Bend.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-start\">All month long, Leon County students have been invited to bring jars of peanut butter and jelly to school. Community members joined WCTV at our first-ever <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/04\/15\/pbj-truck-jam-join-wctv-news-team-we-collect-pbj-plz-donations-publix\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.wctv.tv\/2026\/04\/15\/pbj-truck-jam-join-wctv-news-team-we-collect-pbj-plz-donations-publix\/\">PBJ Truck Jam<\/a>, dropping off donations at Publix and have been donating online. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Together, we have surpassed our $50,000 goal, our $55,000 goal and even our $60,000 goal! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">That\u2019s on top of tons of peanut butter and jelly, which will be collected from schools starting next week. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">We are so grateful for your generosity, and so glad that together in year 10, we\u2019re going to be able to help more families than ever. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Our final weigh-in is coming up on May 14, and we invite you to tune in to see just how much peanut butter and jelly Leon County Schools students have donated.
