TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Families across the Big Bend and South Georgia are celebrating new chapters and impressive milestones this college graduation weekend. <\/p>\n

Perhaps a new best friend would make the perfect graduation gift!<\/p>\n

WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to spotlight four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes faster!<\/p>\n

Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:<\/p>\n

MEET FRITOS\"SweetSweet Fritos is a social butterfly. She made quick friends at the shelter and has never met a stranger.(WCTV)<\/p>\n

Meet Fritos!<\/p>\n

This three year old lady is a perfect forty-pound pup.<\/p>\n

She is super sweet on the leash and eager to explore by your side.<\/p>\n

She\u2019s very social and has never met a stranger.<\/p>\n

And even though she was found as a stray, she\u2019s made quick friends at the shelter.<\/p>\n

Fritos knows how to share with the other dogs there and would likely get along well with any pups at home. <\/p>\n

She loves a good head scratch but maybe not as much as a good treat! <\/p>\n

Visit Fritos at the shelter this weekend! <\/p>\n

MEET OREO\"OreoOreo loves to explore and enjoys a good head scratch.(WCTV) <\/p>\n

Meet Oreo!<\/p>\n

This beautiful brown boy is about three years old.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s his second stint at the shelter, after getting adopted back in 2023.<\/p>\n

But now he\u2019s looking for a fresh start again.<\/p>\n

He\u2019s great on a leash and he leaves no stone unturned. <\/p>\n

Oreo considers playtime the best part of any day. He could use a big, secure yard. <\/p>\n

He\u2019d need to meet any other dog at home before moving in, but he\u2019s housebroken and ready to find his forever family!<\/p>\n

Visit him at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n

MEET KHALEESI\"KhaleesiKhaleesi is a lowrider who enjoys using her short legs to go for an adventure! And she likes treats, too!(WCTV)<\/p>\n

Meet Khaleesi!<\/p>\n

She\u2019s a low rider but high in confidence.<\/p>\n

The shelter thinks she\u2019s a corgi border collie mix.<\/p>\n

On a walk, her short strides are no problem for her curious spirit.<\/p>\n

Khaleesi likes to lead the way, and while she\u2019s great with humans, she probably wants to live at a home where she\u2019s the only pet getting attention. <\/p>\n

She\u2019s three years old and appreciates a good head scratch and a nice treat. <\/p>\n

MEET BUDDY\"BuddyBuddy is looking for a running and napping, buddy!(WCTV)<\/p>\n

Meet Buddy! And try to keep up!<\/p>\n

Buddy has two speeds: full speed and all-out stop.<\/p>\n

He is looking for a running buddy, or a fast-walking buddy who will let him be a dog.<\/p>\n

A run in the sprinkler, a roll in the dirt and when it\u2019s all over, someone to sprawl out with him in the shade.<\/p>\n

Buddy enjoyed taking a breather in the dugout and rolling around to scratch his back.<\/p>\n

Buddy is ready to be YOUR buddy. Please visit him at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n

MEET AND GREET<\/p>\n

You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It\u2019s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n

You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
