It’s all local businesses in and around the I-Drive corridor, government, the I-Drive District, I-Drive Chamber, just making sure that we take a collaborative and communal approach to addressing the problem and make sure everybody’s safe,” Scott said.That collaborative approach, he says, should balance maintaining safety and a family-friendly appeal.”For me, we want to make sure we’re safe, but we also want to make sure that there are affordable, inviting places that people can just go up and not have to go through a line for 20 hours and things like that,” Scott said.Orange County Sheriff John Mina said earlier this week that his team is prepared should another takeover happen.”We’re aware of a future one, so to those people who might plan on going there, just know that we’re going to have dozens and dozens of deputy sheriffs there.
