Flower Thrower Credit: David Straz Center<\/p>\n<p>The largest private collection of authenticated artwork from internationally renowned, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/investigates\/special-report\/global-art-banksy\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">and still somewhat anonymous, <\/a>artist Banksy is coming to Tampa this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring over 160 original works, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.banksyexhibit.com\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Art of Banksy <\/a>exhibit will arrive at the David Straz Center\u2019s Morsani Hall Stage on Saturday, Aug. 1, and run through Sunday, Aug. 30. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.strazcenter.org\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Tickets<\/a> start at start at $29.99 and will go on sale Thursday, May 7 at noon. <\/p>\n<p>The collection, which is estimated to be worth $35 million, includes some of Banksy\u2019s most famous pieces, like \u201cGirl and Balloon\u201d and \u201cRude Copper.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Visitors will also get a chance to see previously unseen work for the first time, including a piece that belonged to the artist\u2019s former girlfriend Leonie Laws, entitled \u201cFlower Thrower,\u201d as well as the \u201cMona\u202fLisa.\u201d Originally purchased directly from Banksy by actor Brad Pitt for his private collection, \u201cMona Lisa\u201d was later returned to the artist in 2022, who then transformed it into a new piece, says a press release.<\/p>\n<p><img
