SOUTHWEST FLORIDA, (WINK) \u2014\u00a0Sunday starts off wet for many communities, especially across the southern tip of the state where heavier rainfall is most likely this morning. Increased moisture will make it feel more humid, along with plenty of cloud cover overhead.<\/p>\n
Rain will be on and off throughout the day, with the best chance for a midday lull before activity ramps back up in the afternoon and early evening. Temperatures will stay relatively mild, topping out in the low 80s.<\/p>\n

Be sure to grab an umbrella before heading out, you\u2019ll likely need it at some point, with around 60% rain coverage across Southwest Florida.<\/p>\n
The workweek begins with the chance of a lingering shower. Clouds will stick around, though we\u2019ll see a mix of sun and clouds at times. A stray shower can\u2019t be ruled out as leftover moisture from the departing front hangs around.<\/p>\n
Temperatures will rebound nicely, climbing back into the upper 80s for most areas.<\/p>\n
Drier conditions are expected for the rest of the workweek, with only about a 10% chance of rain each day. Expect a mix of sun and clouds, making for generally pleasant conditions. Beach plans should be good to go!<\/p>\n
Today won\u2019t be the best day to head out on the water due to scattered storms and gusty winds across the Gulf.<\/p>\n
Northerly winds this afternoon will range from 10 to 15 knots, with gusts up to 20 knots at times. This will create choppier conditions, with seas building to 2\u20133 feet and rougher inland waters.<\/p>\n
