LUCIE, Fla. \u2014 The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) is investigating a shooting that left 2 men injured <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.wptv.com\/news\/local-news\/our-community\/port-st-lucie\/two-people-shot-saturday-in-port-st-lucie-heres-what-we-know\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Saturday evening in St. Lucie West.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>WATCH LIVE: PSLPD holds press conference, gives updates on investigation<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 6:36 p.m. in the 1600 block of NW St. Lucie West Boulevard.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say 2 men were shot inside a car before officers arrived on scene. Both men were taken to separate hospitals and are expected to survive. Their identities have not been released.<\/p>\n<p>Police say the shooting appears to be an isolated incident and not a random act. Officials confirmed that persons of interest have been identified and search warrants are being pursued.<\/p>\n<p>The investigation remains active and ongoing.
