During a news conference Sunday, Police Chief Leo Niemczyk said the incident stemmed from a pre-arranged transaction involving cellphones that escalated into an armed robbery. It began initially as a transaction at a Walmart in Fort Pierce.The two victims were shot in a white Tesla before law enforcement arrived, and they were being treated at separate hospitals, police said. The victims were identified Sunday as Antoine Myers and Jermonti Johnson, 19-year-old men visiting from Georgia. Myers was shot in the head and is in grave condition, and Johnson was hit in the abdomen and is expected to survive, Niemczyk said. Officers responded at 6:36 p.m. to the 1600 block of Northwest St. Lucie West Boulevard shopping center that includes an Aspen Dental, a Walmart Supercenter and a Miller’s Ale House. Detectives and other officers worked through the night to develop leads and make arrests, Niemczyk said.Two of the three suspects were identified and taken into custody. Sharlett Nylav Key, 18, of Port St. Lucie, was identified as the driver and Martravious Aaron Blue, Jr., as an associate. The third suspect, Norrien Casminski, 18, of Fort Pierce, has been identified as the shooter and remains outstanding. “Do not approach \u2014 he should be considered armed and dangerous,” police said. “Your assistance is critical as we continue working to bring this individual into custody.”Tipsters are urged to call 911 immediately.
