The 29th annual LCEC United Way Fishing Tournament total is in, raising nearly $85,000 for the United Way of Lee, Hendry and Glades counties.<\/p>\n

The catch-and-release tournament was held at D&D Bait and Tackle in Matlacha where it has taken place for decades. <\/p>\n

In total, 79 boats and more than 240 anglers participated in the tournament and took part in the winning and bidding on nearly 200 raffle and auction items.<\/p>\n

Fishing tournament winners include:<\/p>\n

\u2022 Grand Slam \u2013 Team Hamilton & Hamilton<\/p>\n

\u2022 Largest Trout \u2013 Team Cozy Kittenz<\/p>\n

\u2022 Largest Red Fish \u2013 Team Hamilton & Hamilton<\/p>\n

\u2022 Largest Snook \u2013 Team Hamilton & Hamilton<\/p>\n

\u2022 Mystery Fish \u2013 Team Landis + Gyr<\/p>\n

\u201cLCEC is extremely thankful to all tournament participants, sponsors, and volunteers!\u201d co-op officials said in a release.<\/p>\n
