More than ten thousand graduates will be recognized this weekend over the course of eight ceremonies.<\/p>\n

Inside the Tucker Civic Center, Florida State University will award nearly 9,000 degrees \u2014 6,732 bachelor\u2019s degrees, 1,523 master\u2019s and specialist degrees and 261 doctoral degrees \u2014 during the five commencement ceremonies taking place.<\/p>\n

The Seminoles will hear from Daniel Perez, speaker of the Florida House of Representatives; Sara Blakely, inventor, philanthropist and founder of Spanx and Sneex<\/a>; and Lt. Gen. Sean M. Farrell, deputy commanding general of U.S. Special Operations Command.<\/p>\n

Down the street at the Al Lawson Center, Florida A&M University will confer approximately 1,500 graduates during three ceremonies.<\/p>\n

The Rattlers will hear wisdom and advice from two keynote speakers \u2014 Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America<\/a>\u00a0President and CEO Thasunda Brown Duckett and FAMU Alumnus Omar Goff, End-to-End Commercial Leader for Head & Shoulders, North America.<\/p>\n
