The Florida Supreme Court<\/a> and The Florida Bar<\/a> handed down revocations of practice for three lawyers for misconduct.<\/p>\n

The high court and the Division of Lawyer Regulation issued the discipline in court orders rendered March 28. Among the rulings were suspensions for 10 other lawyers and a reprimand for another.<\/p>\n

The law practice of John William Dill of Winter Park was permanently revoked<\/a> from practicing law in Florida after he allegedly continued practicing after an earlier revocation and failed to notify a client that he was no longer allowed to practice law in the state.<\/p>\n

Jeffrey Allen Fadley of Okeechobee had his practice revoked<\/a> after he was charged with misappropriation of trust funds. He can apply for readmission in five years. He\u2019s also accused of providing misleading statements on the status of the funds. Two other clients claim Fadley neglected their legal cases.<\/p>\n

And the Bar\u2019s news release said Mark Allen Freeman<\/a> of Orlando failed to return or account for funds held in escrow in which he was acting as an agent. He can seek readmission after 20 days.<\/p>\n

Other disciplined lawyers include:<\/p>\n

\u2014 Daniel David Archer of Minneola, who was suspended for 30 days for exchanging \u201cunprofessional and inappropriate\u201d text messages with a client\u2019s fianc\u00e9.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Colin Munro Cameron of Okeechobee, who was suspended for 30 days for not being diligent in the representation of a case.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Christopher D. Butler of Southport, who was dealt an interim suspension for 30 days after being charged with two counts of sexual battery in February 2025.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Gregory Darnell Curtis of Miami Gardens, who was suspended for 90 days when he didn\u2019t appear at two court hearings in a lawsuit filed on behalf of one of his clients.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Henry George Ferro of Ocala, who was suspended for three years for making statements impugning the integrity of a judge among other actions.<\/p>\n

\u2014 David Robert Heil, who was suspended for three years after engaging in a conflict of interest in a case of a homeowner\u2019s claim for repair services.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Matthew F. Herman, who was suspended for 30 days and ordered to attend The Bar\u2019s Ethics School for impugning the integrity of a judge when he filed a motion to disqualify that judge in a case.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Benjamin Ray Huntero of Sarasota, who was dealt an interim suspension after he was charged with exploitation of an elderly person or disabled adult.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Charles Edwin Lykes Jr. of Guandong, China, who was suspended from practicing law in Florida for 91 days when he was held in contempt.<\/p>\n

\u2014 Teresa Schiele Roper of Apopka, who was suspended for two years after pleading no contest to battery on a law enforcement officer.<\/p>\n
