(<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\" target=\"_self\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.mysuncoast.com\/\">WWSB<\/a>) &#8211; A Tampa woman is facing animal cruelty charges after deputies say she was seen on surveillance video kicking and throwing a small dog across the street.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Hillsborough County Sheriff\u2019s Office arrested Imania Davis, 33, on six charges of aggravated cruelty to animals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The sheriff\u2019s office said Davis was seen on camera April 30 at about 8:20 p.m., picking up a small white dog by the scruff of the neck and throwing it twice on asphalt. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The video also shows Davis kicking the dog, deputies said on social media.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Deputies responded and took the dog to a veterinarian, where it was treated for a broken leg. It is now receiving care and recovering.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As of Monday morning, Davis was in the Hillsborough County Jail under $75,000 bond. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 WWSB.
