causing damage<\/a> to a South Beach smoke shop and was arrested on a criminal mischief charge.<\/p>\nHe now faces much more serious allegations: charges of threats against the president and interstate threatening communications. <\/p>\n
In a federal criminal complaint, filed on Friday and later made public, investigators said they first began monitoring Sanders on Jan. 28 after he made a post to social media platform X stating, \u201cImma bomb the f—ing White House you f—ing pedophile.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities said on Instagram, he posted a serious of videos \u201ccomplaining and speaking angrily about his hatred\u201d for Trump, Rubio and Bondi.<\/p>\n
In an April 10 video, authorities said Sanders posted a video to Instagram saying, \u201cYour fake husband gotta be the biggest pedophile in the f—ing world bro. I don\u2019t know what to do Melania, like, all I got is a gun. It\u2019s the only thing I can use now is a gun.\u201d<\/p>\n
Two minutes later, they said he posted a threat against Rubio, mixing English and Spanish.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne thing about it Marco, b—, yo no tengo miedo de nadie (I\u2019m not scared of anyone) because we all f—ing bleed b—-,\u201d agents said he posted. \u201cLike a lot of people be forgetting they bleed just like everybody else. Like when I get my hands on him, I\u2019m gonna hurt him. Simple as that.\u201d <\/p>\n
Authorities said a week later, he posted a video calling Trump a \u201cfata– orange pedophile a– pervert\u201d and said \u201cimma stomp your f—ing head in imma step on your throat and I\u2019m going to kill you in the worst f—ing way.\u201d<\/p>\n
Two days later, on April 19, authorities said Sanders then posted another video making threats against Bondi and the officials in general.<\/p>\n
\u201cPam, when I see you b—-, imma put my foot in your f—ing c—, you stupid h–, and imma wear you like a boot,\u201d he said, according to the complaint. \u201cYou pedophile a– b—-. Imma kill all y\u2019all pedophiles. I don\u2019t give a f— y\u2019all. B—-, keep playing with me h–. Imma kill you.\u201d<\/p>\n
Authorities said he continued to post videos threatening Trump.<\/p>\n
Agents said they later went to Sanders\u2019 home, which was listed in a recent local arrest report as an apartment near 15th Terrace and West Avenue on South Beach, to question him about the posts.<\/p>\n
Authorities said he called Trump and the other officials \u201cpedophiles\u201d and then \u201cterminated the encounter.\u201d<\/p>\n
Records show Sanders was being held in the Federal Detention Center in downtown Miami as of Tuesday. <\/p>\n
