{"id":259658,"date":"2026-05-05T20:05:07","date_gmt":"2026-05-05T20:05:07","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/259658\/"},"modified":"2026-05-05T20:05:07","modified_gmt":"2026-05-05T20:05:07","slug":"usf-to-give-posthumous-doctoral-degrees-to-2-slain-students","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/259658\/","title":{"rendered":"USF to give posthumous doctoral degrees to 2 slain students"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 USF will host graduation ceremonies and will honor two students who were killed last month.<\/p>\n<p>School President\u00a0Moez Limayem says the university will give posthumous doctoral degres to Zamil Limon and Nahida Bristy.<\/p>\n<p>The two were fatally stabbed, <a href=\"https:\/\/baynews9.com\/fl\/tampa\/news\/2026\/05\/01\/sheriff--second-usf-victim-id-d-in--calculated--pre-meditated--murders\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/a>.
