A Florida mother is facing child abuse charges after she was involved in a physical altercation at a youth football game Saturday in Fort Myers, the Lee County Sheriff\u2019s Office confirmed to The Post.<\/p>\n

Renee Lambert, 34, was detained by police for allegedly kicking a male juvenile in the leg during an on-field brawl between Pop Warner players, according to the arrest report, which stated deputies discovered a video showing Lambert involved in a physical altercation.<\/p>\n

Lambert is also facing a charge of resisting an officer after police said she became confrontational and refused to give her hands as they attempted to handcuff her.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m mad at an adult for attacking a kid,\u201d the officer responded. \u201cStop! You\u2019re detained right now.\u201d<\/p>\n

The officer explained, \u201cYou are being pointed out as being a suspect right now. You\u2019re detained.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lambert referenced \u201cnumber nine\u201d and demanded that police \u201cgo get number nine,\u201d seemingly referencing a youth football player.<\/p>\n

\u201cA kid?\u201d the officer asked. \u201cYou\u2019re an adult \u2026 You are detained because they said you hit a kid.\u201d<\/p>\n

Police spoke with the victim, who claimed that Lambert kicked him in the leg while he was on the ground.<\/p>\n

A witness purportedly saw Lambert kick a juvenile male multiple times, and another allegedly saw her pushing the victim.<\/p>\n

Police said they confronted Lambert near the concession stand as she was gathering her belongings to leave. <\/p>\n

She was transferred to Lee Memorial Hospital after complaining of a headache, per the arrest report.<\/p>\n
