Students looking for housing are being placed on a housing waitlist while the University evaluates immediate and long-term solutions to support its rapid growth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">The housing capacity issue comes as Florida Poly has seen a 39% increase in student net deposits, which secure students\u2019 place in the university, compared to this time last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cOur growth is a direct result of the vision set by state leadership to expand opportunity in high-impact fields,\u201d Florida Poly Board of Trustees Chair Beth Kigel said of the state\u2019s flagship STEM-only institution.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u201cWe are delivering on that charge, enrolling more students than ever before without compromising the high standards and academic excellence that set Florida Poly apart. The demand we see reflects the rising reputation and great value of our institution. Now, it is critical that we continue working together to ensure the infrastructure and resources are in place to support this momentum and sustain the University\u2019s trajectory.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.verramobility.com\/floridasafezones\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external noreferrer nofollow\" data-wpel-link=\"external\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-735581 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/25-VM-004-FlaPol-Ads_728x90.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"728\" height=\"90\"\/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">University leadership is \u201cactively weighing\u201d its options to manage housing demand.
