{"id":261540,"date":"2026-05-07T02:59:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T02:59:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/261540\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T02:59:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T02:59:08","slug":"mdso-searching-for-man-who-nearly-crashed-into-detectives-in-miami-wsvn-7news-miami-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/261540\/","title":{"rendered":"MDSO searching for man who nearly crashed into detectives in Miami &#8211; WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MIAMI (WSVN) &#8211; The Miami-Dade Sheriff\u2019s Office is searching for a suspect wanted for nearly running over several of their own detectives.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened on Southwest Fourth Avenue and Eighth Street in Miami on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities with the MDSO Organized Crime Bureau said they spotted 35-year-old Jimmy Altidor. <\/p>\n<p>Deputies said that Altidor put his car in reverse, smashed into two unmarked cruisers and sped off.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators later found the car Altidor was driving, but found no sign of him.<\/p>\n<p>No detectives were injured from the incident. <\/p>\n<p>Officials urge those who know Altidor\u2019s whereabouts to contact MDSO.<\/p>\n<p>If you have any information on this crime, call Miami-Dade Crime Stoppers at 305-471-TIPS.
