{"id":261690,"date":"2026-05-07T07:39:11","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T07:39:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/261690\/"},"modified":"2026-05-07T07:39:11","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T07:39:11","slug":"fast-test-how-to-view-you-childs-results-nbc-6-south-florida","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/261690\/","title":{"rendered":"FAST test, how to view you child\u2019s results \u2013 NBC 6 South Florida"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Florida kids are finally taking the third and last of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/radically-different-than-floridas-old-standardized-testing-new-fast-test-gets-positive-reviews\/3004244\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.nbcmiami.com\/news\/local\/radically-different-than-floridas-old-standardized-testing-new-fast-test-gets-positive-reviews\/3004244\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">FAST tests <\/a>for the 2025-2026 school year.<\/p>\n<p>FAST stands for Florida Assessment of Student Thinking. Unlike the FSA, the FAST test is given three times a year between kindergarten and 10th\u00a0grade. It\u2019s shorter and it\u2019s computer-based, not on paper like the FSA.<\/p>\n<p>Students from grades 3\u201310 took the First Administration, PM1, on August 11 and finished on September 26, 2025.<\/p>\n<p>They took PM2, on December 1, 2025 and finished on January 23.<\/p>\n<p>The Third Administration, PM3, began May 1\u00a0and is scheduled to finish on May 31.<\/p>\n<p>PM3 provides a summative score at the end of the year to measure student mastery of the grade-level<br \/>content standards, according to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fldoe.org\/core\/fileparse.php\/20102\/urlt\/2324FASTGrd310FS.pdf\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.fldoe.org\/core\/fileparse.php\/20102\/urlt\/2324FASTGrd310FS.pdf\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Florida Department of Education<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>Assessments for grades K\u20132 were held in the 2025-2026 school year as well. as well. The test schedules are slightly different from the assessment dates for grades 3\u201310. Grades K-2 took PM1 on August 4 to September 26, 2025 and PM2 on December 1, 2025 to January 23. The PM3 period is from April 13 to May 29.  <\/p>\n<p>Results<\/p>\n<p>Results for FAST assessments are reported in the Florida Reporting System within 24 hours of the student completing testing.<\/p>\n<p>Parents can view their children&#8217;s test results through the Florida Reporting System available in the <a href=\"https:\/\/sso2.cambiumast.com\/auth\/realms\/florida\/login-actions\/authenticate?client_id=SP_AST_FLORIDA_AWR_PROD&amp;tab_id=52qwg5Naq5Y\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/sso2.cambiumast.com\/auth\/realms\/florida\/login-actions\/authenticate?client_id=SP_AST_FLORIDA_AWR_PROD&amp;tab_id=52qwg5Naq5Y\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">FAST porta<\/a>l. May need additional support for the next grade. <\/p>\n<p>Level 4: Proficient. Likely to excel in the next grade. <\/p>\n<p>Level 5: Exemplary.
