Ebisu Life Store<\/a>, a wildly popular Japanese lifestyle shop filled with viral snacks, blind boxes and obscure collectibles, will soon open its largest ever location in Tampa Bay.\u00a0<\/p>\n

According to the Tampa Bay Business Journal<\/a>, Ebisu has signed a lease to open a new location\u00a0at 6234 Commerce Dr., in a former Joann Fabrics space at the Market Square shopping center in Tampa Palms.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The new 21,597-square-foot Ebisu location dwarfs the 14,756-square-foot Orlando store<\/a>, which opened its doors last February and, at the time, was the Japanese-based company\u2019s largest footprint to date.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Founded in Osaka, Japan in 2013, Ebisu is not affiliated with the popular Seminole Heights restaurant Ebisu Sushi Shack<\/a>. It\u2019s real life version of a \u201cblind box\u201d doom scroll session.<\/p>\n

Guests can expect aisles and aisles of imported Japanese snacks, cult-favorite candies and drinks, plushies, kawaii collectibles, arcade style claw machines, rows of Gashopon machines, and more.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Ebisu currently has over 20 stores across the U.S., and 15 stores listed as coming soon.\u00a0<\/p>\n

No exact opening date was announced for the new Tampa outpost.<\/p>\n
