(WCTV) &#8211; Our Furry Friday dogs this week are in search of dog moms &#8211; and dads &#8211; this Mother\u2019s Day weekend!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">WCTV and the Tallahassee Animal Service Center team up each week to shine a spotlight on four adoptable dogs in hopes of helping them find their fur-ever homes, faster!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Here are the dogs we are featuring this week:<\/p>\n<p>MEET CHERRY<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Cherry is ready to jump back into family life and would be a sweet and spunky addition to your...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/HC4JXF72MBDYFEHXDCI7N6IC6M.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Cherry is ready to jump back into family life and would be a sweet and spunky addition to your home!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Cherry!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This playful pup was adopted from the shelter as a puppy and is back now because her owner has some health issues and could no longer take care of her. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Cherry is sweet as can be! She\u2019s into long walks, will sit for treats and will even dance for them! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She is a social butterfly &#8230; active, friendly, and always game for a few scratches. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Cherry is ready to jump back into family life and would be a sweet and spunky addition to your home! Please visit Cherry at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET GOBIE<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Gobie gets the all out zoomies and then snuggles up for some hugs &amp; kisses!\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/AEA2PMRK4FCTDHOW5QR3NL7C4I.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Gobie gets the all out zoomies and then snuggles up for some hugs &amp; kisses!(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Gobie!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This sweet sir has a coat as soft as silk and a personality that\u2019s just as shiny.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Gobie is alternately goofy and easy going.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He gets the all out zoomies and then snuggles up for some hugs &amp; kisses.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This gentle boy loves his people and has a case of extreme cute-ness!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He can\u2019t wait to find a family who thinks he\u2019s as adorable as we do!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit Gobie at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET MYSTERY<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"How Mystery got to the shelter is a mystery. And why he\u2019s still there is a mystery too. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Someone spent lots of time loving and training this young man. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Mystery is not his best self in a kennel. It\u2019s out and about in the loving care of a trusted human that he shows his true colors. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Mystery is mister manners. He can sit, shake, lie down &#8230; you name it. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He is laid back, leash friendly and loves riding in the car with the windows down and the wind in his hair. Ok. I made that last part up. But Mystery is the real deal. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit him at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET ZARA<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"Zara is a real love muffin! Sashaying at your side, happy as a clam.\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/05\/HJPL5QKOYZBTTORETPNDRG3Z4M.JPG\" width=\"980\" height=\"735\" \/>Zara is a real love muffin! Sashaying at your side, happy as a clam.(WCTV)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Meet Zara!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">This lab is a real love muffin!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Zara soaks up all the love and attention you can give &#8211; back scratches, head scratches, ear scratches &#8211; all good! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Zara is the perfect walking companion, sashaying at your side, happy as a clam. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She enjoys playtime, loves pouncing on pillows and has lived with kids, dogs and cats. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Zara likes to show off her shiny, luxurious black coat and knows most basic commands. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She\u2019s ready for a fresh start with an active, affectionate family who will sashay with her &#8211; and stay with her &#8211; on this adventure called life! <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Please visit Zara at the shelter this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>MEET AND GREET<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You can meet these dogs and dozens more awaiting adoption at the Tallahassee Animal Service Center. It\u2019s located across from Tom Brown Park at 1125 Easterwood Drive in Tallahassee.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">You can walk through the kennels Tuesday through Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and can also visit by appointment the rest of the week from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Check out all the dogs and cats available for adoption on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.talgov.com\/animals\/asc-adopt\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.talgov.com\/animals\/asc-adopt\" target=\"_blank\">shelter\u2019s website.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>CONGRATULATIONS!<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">We are excited to share that two more dogs recently featured on Furry Friday have just been adopted!
