ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 A cold front<\/a> is sweeping across Florida on Thursday, bringing the first real taste of fall<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Cold Blast Coming!<\/p>\n

Thursday<\/p>\n

Behind this front comes a noticeable cooldown. Highs will run 5\u201310 degrees below normal, topping out in the low to mid-70s. <\/p>\n

Expect west-northwest winds of 15\u201320 mph, with gusts up to 25\u201330 mph through the afternoon.<\/p>\n

Lows Thursday Night<\/p>\n

Thursday night will feel downright chilly for late October, with north to northwest winds helping temperatures dip into the mid- to upper 40s areas north and west of I-4 and the low to mid-50s elsewhere. <\/p>\n

Some neighborhoods, like Leesburg and Daytona Beach, could dip quickly into the 40s. If that happens, it\u2019ll be the first time temps have dropped below 50 since March 23!<\/p>\n

Halloween<\/p>\n

From Friday through Sunday, high pressure will settle over the area, calming the winds and keeping skies mostly clear. <\/p>\n

Friday will stay cool, with highs in the low 70s, but temperatures will gradually warm through the weekend into the upper 70s by Sunday. <\/p>\n

Halloween Forecast<\/p>\n

Halloween evening looks comfortably cool, with temps in the 50s and 60s while trick-or-treaters are out. <\/p>\n

Trick or Treating Forecast<\/p>\n

Overnight lows Friday night will dip again into the upper 40s and low 50s inland, and the 50s along the coast, before slowly rebounding through the weekend.<\/p>\n

Weekend<\/p>\n

Most of the weekend stays dry, but by Sunday night an increase in onshore flow and moisture could spark a few coastal showers or isolated storms. <\/p>\n

Rain chances are low for now but could rise as the pattern becomes clearer by early next week.<\/p>\n
