{"id":264535,"date":"2026-05-09T07:36:22","date_gmt":"2026-05-09T07:36:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/264535\/"},"modified":"2026-05-09T07:36:22","modified_gmt":"2026-05-09T07:36:22","slug":"influencer-suing-former-dolphins-player-tyreek-hill-takes-the-stand-in-broward-during-opening-statements","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/264535\/","title":{"rendered":"Influencer suing former Dolphins player Tyreek Hill takes the stand in Broward during opening statements"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Social media influencer and model Sophie Hall testified Thursday during opening statements in her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/news\/jury-selection-tyreek-hill-civil-lawsuit\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">civil trial <\/a>against former <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/miami\/tag\/miami-dolphins\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Miami Dolphins<\/a> wide receiver Tyreek Hill. <\/p>\n<p>Hall, who has millions of followers online, is suing Hill, claiming he broke her leg during a visit to his Southwest Ranches estate in 2023.<\/p>\n<p>Hall claims she fell after Hill &#8220;charged&#8221; her while they were practicing football drills in the backyard. <\/p>\n<p>Her lawyer, Jonathan Gdanski, told jurors, &#8220;She hit the floor and felt pain&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Hill&#8217;s attorney, Rob Horwitz, argued that Hall chose to visit the player and, therefore, &#8220;assumed any risk&#8221;.
