While most members of Fort Myers Offshore<\/a> from the Midwest, Northeast and Canada are back in their home states, they now have another memento from a boating season in Southwest Florida that they\u2019ll never forget. Released today, a new Scrapyard Media <\/a>video focuses on nonprofit scholarship fundraising club\u2019s late April season finale. <\/p>\n

But the nine-minute production, the third Scrapyard video produced on the club in the past two months, does more than that. Through fine action footage courtesy in large part to GSX Powerboats<\/a>\u2014the season-ending event\u2019s Media Sponsor\u2014it captures the action and energy that drives the club.<\/p>\n

Through interviews with club members and leaders, it cuts to the heart of why Fort Myers Offshore has experienced unprecedented growth during the past two seasons.<\/p>\n

Of course, the new video will trigger members among the Fort Myers Offshore faithful. But its meaning and impact go beyond a documentary-stroll down memory lane.<\/p>\n

\u201cFort Myers Offshore has always been about more than just boats\u2014it\u2019s about people, friendships and the extended FMO family,\u201d explained Tim Hill, the president of the club. \u201cVideo gives us the opportunity to truly capture the energy, emotion, and experience of FMO events in a way still images simply cannot. As for Fort Myers Offshore continues to grow, we feel it is important to start documenting not only the performance boating lifestyle, but also the charitable impact and community behind it from the runs and raft ups to the scholarship mission and lifelong friendships formed along the way.<\/p>\n

\u201cVideo content is also becoming an important part of our growing partnerships and sponsorship opportunities with manufacturers, marine brands and supporting businesses,\u201d he continued. \u201cIt gives current perspective sponsors the ability to see the professionalism and reach FMO provides both on and off the water. Video enable us extend the value of an event far beyond a single weekend and create lasting exposure for the companies that support our mission in these events.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hill paused for a moment, then continued.<\/p>\n
