{"id":265938,"date":"2026-05-10T20:22:25","date_gmt":"2026-05-10T20:22:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/265938\/"},"modified":"2026-05-10T20:22:25","modified_gmt":"2026-05-10T20:22:25","slug":"tampa-police-officer-arrested-for-dui-relieved-of-duty-tpd","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/265938\/","title":{"rendered":"Tampa police officer arrested for DUI, relieved of duty: TPD"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>TAMPA, Fla. \u2014 An off-duty probationary Tampa police officer was arrested late Saturday night on a charge of driving under the influence, according to the Tampa Police Department (TPD).<\/p>\n<p>Officer Kevin Casazza was stopped just before midnight along Interstate 275 near Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, according to a news release.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This incident is deeply disappointing,&#8221; Chief Lee Bercaw said in a statement. &#8220;Every employee, on or off duty, is expected to hold themselves to the highest standards.
