The 72-story Okan Tower<\/a> has reached 75% structural completion<\/a>, with 50 of its floors now in place.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The soon-to-be supertall, tulip-shaped structure is growing\u00a0at\u00a0one floor a week.\u00a0The\u00a0top-off of\u00a0the\u00a0Hilton Hotel-anchored<\/a> residential\u00a0high-rise\u00a0is\u00a0expected to take place in\u00a0August.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Designed by Behar Font & Partners,\u00a0the tower\u2019s\u00a0\u201ccurtain wall has already advanced dozens of floors up the structure, while a series of stepped floor plates are creating the layered exterior inspired by the form of a Turkish tulip,\u201d\u00a0according to an announcement.\u00a0<\/p>\n

With an ultimate height of\u00a0902 feet, Okan Tower will be the second-largest tower in\u00a0downtown Miami, according to its developers, Okan Group.\u00a0Located at 555 North Miami Ave., the\u00a0building\u00a0will have\u00a0hospitality, residential, wellness and office components.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

The project will be anchored by a 316-key Hilton Miami Bayfront Hotel, with 236 condo-hotel units managed by Hilton Hotels & Resorts. The tower will\u00a0also have\u00a0163 Sky Residences and approximately\u00a064,000 square feet\u00a0of\u00a0class A office space.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

\u201cReaching this stage of construction is a significant achievement for the project,\u201d\u00a0Okan Group\u00a0Chairman\u00a0Bekir Okan\u00a0said.\u00a0\u201cOkan\u00a0Tower\u00a0represents\u00a0years of planning,\u00a0design\u00a0and coordination. Seeing the building take its place on the Miami skyline is both rewarding and a clear reflection of the team\u2019s disciplined execution.\u201d\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

So far,\u00a0residential\u00a0buyers\u00a0are\u00a0hailing from\u00a0Argentina, Mexico, the United States, Colombia,\u00a0Turkey,\u00a0Spain\u00a0and Denmark.\u00a0Fortune Development Sales is leading sales and marketing efforts.\u00a0<\/p>\n
