\n\tPerched about 100 feet in the sky without a harness, Playboi Carti<\/a> dangles atop a gothic staircase in front of over 60,000 fans locked in on his every move. <\/p>\n

\n\tRocking a Michael Jackson<\/a>-esque outfit with a white dress shirt, leather pants and a YSL black suit jacket with tassels, which is accessorized in Carti fashion with star diamond earrings, piercings, a glistening chain, sunglasses and a du-rag, King Vamp is at home.<\/p>\n

\n\tCarti returned to Rolling Loud Orlando<\/a> to perform on Saturday night (May 9) for his record-breaking sixth headlining set. He took the stage around 10 p.m. ET as temperatures cooled off at the festival<\/a> to \u201cHBA,\u201d which sent the Opium-favoring crowd into a frenzy. <\/p>\n

\n\tCarti came out swinging with fan-favorites to kick off the set like \u201cPop Out,\u201d \u201cEvil J0rdan,\u201d \u201cStop Breathing\u201d and \u201cSky,\u201d which led into the moshpits and chaos of \u201cFE!N,\u201d as plenty of pyrotechnics lit up the Under Armour Stage. <\/p>\n

\n\tMUSIC topped the Billboard 200 <\/a>upon its arrival in March of last year, and Carti\u2019s album has remained on the album chart for all 59 weeks since being released. <\/p>\n

\n\tIt\u2019s all about Opium this weekend at Rolling Loud, as Destroy Lonely and HXG performed ahead of Playboi Carti\u2019s set, while Ken Carson is filling in for NBA YoungBoy<\/a> as Sunday\u2019s (May 10) headliner. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe Opium family reunited on stage as Carti stood alongside his mentees, which made for a heartwarming moment and a snapshot of who\u2019s dominating rap when it comes to crews in 2026. <\/p>\n

\n\tCarson actually premiered a rage-filled unreleased track, which could be a taste of what\u2019s to come on the Lord of Chaos\u2019 The Xperiment album. Carti got back in the driver\u2019s seat while running through \u201cRockstar Made,\u201d \u201cOPM BABI,\u201d \u201cK Pop\u201d and \u201cLike Weezy.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tA standout moment came when Carti took it back to the intro of his 2017 self-titled mixtape with \u201cLocation\u201d and there would\u2019ve been tremors that registered on the Richter scale if Lil Uzi Vert popped out for \u201cShoota.\u201d At one point, Carti even took off his belt and began whipping the railing in between screeches. <\/p>\n

\n\tWhile he never went to college, graduation was weighing heavily on the Atlanta rap titan\u2019s mind throughout the set, as he shouted out those who graduated<\/a> during this academic year a few times. \u201cCongratulations, you made it, b\u2014h,\u201d he said while performing \u201cLong Time.\u201d \u201cCongratulations to the class of 2026. Congratulations to everyone who graduated. You made it.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tAs the 11 p.m. ET curfew neared, Carti insisted he would blow past that and deal with whatever financial consequences would come after. \u201cI got too many songs, just do it. F\u2014k the budget,\u201d he relayed to DJ Swamp Izzo before leading into \u201cRather Lie.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tThere weren\u2019t many surprises in the 30-year-old\u2019s set, but he shocked fans when performing the Vory-assisted \u201c24 Songs.\u201d<\/a> The vulnerable track has traces to the top of the 2020s and leaked in full back in 2023. <\/p>\n

\n\tDown the stretch, the set lost a bit of steam, as unpredictability can be a bit of a gift and a curse for King Vamp. He mustered up the energy needed to close out with \u201cCrank\u201d and stamp his king of Rolling Loud title, but it was DJ Swamp Izzo who had the last word and had fans\u2019 ears perked up. \u201cBaby Boi on the way,\u201d he teased of Carti\u2019s rumored upcoming project. <\/p>\n

\n\tCarti vanished into the darkness around 11:15 p.m. ET.<\/p>\n
