TALLAHASSEE, Fla. \u2014 The ULM women’s golf team has completed the first round of NCAA Regionals in Tallahassee, ending the first day in the top four. The Warhawks are tied with Eastern Michigan for the fourth place spot, one of just five teams shooting under par. The team shot an overall 287 (-1) in the first 18 holes.<\/p>\n
Johanna Sjursen<\/a> sank six birdies to finish with a score of 69 (-3), tying for second place on the leaderboard of individuals. Fellow senior Anna Andrysova<\/a> also shot under par with a 71 (-1) on the day, recording five birdies of her own. She has landed 12th on the leaderboard. Daniela Campillo<\/a> sits at 22nd with a score of 73 (+1), Emma Manzini<\/a> close behind with a 74 (+2). Zoe McLean-Tattan<\/a> rounds out the field for ULM by shooting seven over par.\u00a0<\/p>\n Host Florida leads the field by shooting 283 (-5), Florida State (-3) and Wake Forest (-3) both tying for second to round out the top three. Eastern Michigan’s Janae Leovao (-4) leads the field through 18 holes. Clemson’s Isabella Rawl, Wake Forest’s Chloe Kovelesky, Florida’s Siuue Wu and Florida State’s Sophia Fullbrook tie with Sjursen in the second place spot, all scoring three-under. Rawl and Sjursen remain as the only two in the top slots without a ranking.<\/p>\n ULM will continue to compete at the Seminole Legacy Golf Club on Tuesday (May 12), teeing off at 7 a.m. CT.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
