Cinderella Castle<\/a> in Magic Kingdom has been getting a major paint job,<\/a> changing from its 50th anniversary pink to its traditional blue and gray.<\/p>\n

\"\"Cinderella Castle<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been keeping an eye on it since January 2026, and five months later, it looks like it\u2019s still getting the final touches. While some of our team members are missing the pink (me included), we can\u2019t deny that the blue and gray are so nostalgic!<\/p>\n

From a quick glance at the castle, it looks like it\u2019s practically finished! The cranes are only up in the morning, and when they\u2019re down in the afternoon, it looks just about completed.<\/p>\n

From the top of the train station, you can really see the silver. The gold accents really shine, too, and the darker blue really stands out against the gray.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s a look from the backside. You can REALLY see the gold here. The back of the castle is kinda our secret spot for cool castle pictures.<\/p>\n

The details look amazing!\u00a0 The gold really shimmers, and the light blue looks great on the dark blue for a more detailed design.<\/p>\n

Another look! Now, if only we could stay inside the castle to admire it (come on, one can dream!).<\/p>\n

\"\"We love the light blue<\/p>\n

The moat is still empty around the castle, and with all the construction equipment, we\u2019re thinking there\u2019s more work to be done. While it looks great for photos, they might be working on more details, more layers of paint, extra coating, or more. Once the water is back, we\u2019ll feel more confident saying it\u2019s finished.<\/p>\n
