Attendees of an upcoming beauty conference in Orlando will be the first to experience Celestial Park as an \u201copen hub,\u201d confirming the rumors surrounding the installation of facial recognition devices around the park.<\/p>\n

Last month, Universal started testing photo validation<\/a> at individual Epic Universe portals, indicating they could potentially sell tickets just for Celestial Park in the future.<\/p>\n

This would mean guests could access Celestial Park\u2019s dining (including Pizza Moon<\/a>, Atlantic,<\/a> and The Blue Dragon<\/a>), shopping<\/a>, and live entertainment<\/a>, but would not be able to pass through any portals. We don\u2019t yet know how Stardust Racers and the Constellation Carousel would fit into the Open Hub approach, as both attractions are officially located in Celestial Park.<\/p>\n

We now know that Universal is already utilizing this concept for private events, as a sponsored Instagram post made by Premiere Beauty Shows<\/a> reveals that a perk for an upcoming Orlando conference is complimentary admission to Celestial Park, including parking.<\/p>\n
