(WCTV) &#8211; The price tag for an expanded Midway community center is expected to be a little higher after workers discovered an issue with the flooring. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Eugene Lamb Community Center is being renovated with a federal grant and city money. The total project is expected to cost more than $2 million. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Crews found uneven flooring during demolition, so now the city will spend around $23,000 to eliminate the final hurdle. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text text-center\">More news out of the Big Bend:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Antonio Jefferson, senior consultant to the Midway City Manager, said investing in the building is of great value to the community.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cPart of this was preserving the historic value that this building serves to this community.
