Tampa, FL – Tampa has been selected to host the 2029 College Football Playoff (CFP) National Championship at Raymond James Stadium.<\/p>\n
According to the CFP Management Committee, the championship game will take place on Monday, January 22, 2029, marking Tampa\u2019s second time hosting the event.<\/p>\n
The decision makes Tampa only the fourth city to host the CFP title game more than once, having previously hosted the championship in 2017. <\/p>\n
The announcement was made by College Football Playoff Executive Director Rich Clark, who noted that Tampa has consistently proven itself as a strong venue for major national sporting events.<\/p>\n
The selection follows a trend of rotating the championship among cities with modern stadiums and established sports infrastructure. <\/p>\n
Tampa\u2019s track record with large-scale events such as the Super Bowl and previous CFP championship contributed to its successful bid. <\/p>\n
