TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – A Crawfordville man pleaded guilty in federal court to attempted enticement of a minor, according to the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office. <\/p>\n
Anthony Lanier, Jr., 34, pleaded guilty to one county attempted enticement of a minor and once count of attempted transmission of obscene material. <\/p>\n
Lanier was arrested as part of a November undercover operation in Tallahassee<\/a>. He was indicted<\/a> on these charges in March.<\/p>\n More on crime on our area: <\/p>\n Court documents show Lanier was talking to who believed to be a child online, but was actually a law enforcement officer. <\/p>\n Lanier asked the child to send explicit photos and sent explicit photos to the child. He also asked to commit sexual acts on the child and her friend, according to court documents. <\/p>\n Lanier then drove to meet the child, where he was arrested.<\/p>\n He faces a minimum of 10 years in prison and up to life in prison on the enticement charge and 10 years for transmitting obscene material.
