TALLAHASSEE –\u00a0\u00a0The Florida State women’s golf team remains in second place at the 2026 NCAA Tallahassee Regional, which is being held at Seminole Legacy.\u00a0 The Seminoles were the only team under par in the second round and sit 4-under, 572, just one stroke behind No. 3 Florida. The top five programs following the final round will advance to the NCAA Championship, which will be held in Carlsbad, California from May 22-27.

\nWith storms in the area all day on Tuesday, play was pushed back by two hours due to inclement weather and also saw a pair of delays throughout the round, tallying over three hours.
\n\u00a0
\nDespite wet conditions, Alexandra Gazzoli<\/a> led the Noles for the day and saw four birdies on the front nine and jumped up the leaderboard. She finished the round 4-under, 68, which was her lowest score of her career at Seminole Legacy. \u00a0She moved up and is tied for third at 4-under, 140.
\n\u00a0
\nSophia Fullbrook<\/a> turned in a round of even par, 72 round and is just behind Gazzoli on the leaderboard. She is tied for fourth at 3-under, 141.
\n\u00a0
\nHaruhi Nakatani<\/a> followed, finishing the day 2-over, 74 and is tied for 11th place at even, 144.
\n\u00a0
\nLayla Pedrique<\/a> finished the round 2-over, 73, moving into the top 25 on the leaderboard. She is 4-over, 148 for the tournament and is tied for 24th place .
\n\u00a0
\nThe Seminoles will tee of on Wednesday at 8:00 a.m. off the first tee and will be paired with the Gators and No. 9 Wake Forest.
