{"id":269538,"date":"2026-05-13T15:02:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T15:02:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/269538\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T15:02:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T15:02:09","slug":"boho-chic-womens-boutique-saltlight-art-expands-in-the-grand-central-district","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/269538\/","title":{"rendered":"Boho-chic women&#8217;s boutique SaltLight Art expands in the Grand Central District"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">A popular boho-chic boutique is getting a bigger home in the Grand Central District. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/saltlightart\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">SaltLight Art<\/a> is relocating next door into a space more than double the size of its current shop, creating room for more apparel, accessories, jewelry, and artwork.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The boutique is moving from Suite A to Suite B at 1916 Central Avenue, expanding from its current 1,000-square-foot storefront to more than 2,000 square feet. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The new space previously housed <a href=\"https:\/\/chillumdispensary.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Chillum Mushroom and Hemp Dispensary<\/a>, which closed in late April.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">\u201cWhen they closed, we saw this as a great opportunity to hop right over into this larger space and get a larger square footage without leaving our block and our neighborhood,\u201d said Mary Long, who co-owns SaltLight Art with her husband, William, in a conversation with St. Pete Rising.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">Long said she received the keys earlier this month and expects to open the new shop by the end of May. <\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The space is currently undergoing renovations as she refinishes floors, updates paint, installs light fixtures, and works with a local muralist on new signage.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\" style=\"white-space:pre-wrap;\">The expanded storefront will allow SaltLight Art to better organize and display its inventory, which includes apparel ranging from linens to denim, leather handbags, jewelry, and accessories. <\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A popular boho-chic boutique is getting a bigger home in the Grand Central District.
