TALLAHASSEE, Fla.\u00a0\u2013 The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Vaqueros women’s golf team finished in 11th\u00a0place in their first-ever NCAA Regional on Tuesday at Seminole Legacy Golf Club in Tallahassee.
\n\u00a0
\nThe Vaqueros bounced back from their second round with a final round 306 as the finished with a three-round score of 944 to finish ahead of Little Rock.
\n\u00a0
\nSophomore\u00a0Miriam Barcalova<\/a>\u00a0led the Vaqueros with a three-round score of 233 as she finished tied for 52nd\u00a0after posting a final round three-over par 75.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

Junior\u00a0Natalia Rodriguez<\/a>\u00a0paced the Vaqueros in the final round with a one-over par 73 to finish in 57th\u00a0with a three-round score of 236. Rodriguez posted a front nine one-under 35 with two birdies, six pars, and a bogey while posting a 38 on the back nine with two birdies, four pars, a bogey, and a double bogey.\u00a0

\nSophomore\u00a0Zoe Hobbs<\/a>\u00a0carded a final round 79 to finish in tied for 58th\u00a0with a three-round score of 237. Sophomore\u00a0Pitchayapa Pungpho<\/a>\u00a0finished in 60th\u00a0with a three-round score of 238 after posting a final round 79.\u00a0

\nJunior\u00a0Preston Saiz<\/a>\u00a0improved from her first round with a final round 82 as she finished in 65th\u00a0place with a two-round score of 171.
