{"id":269850,"date":"2026-05-13T19:47:08","date_gmt":"2026-05-13T19:47:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/269850\/"},"modified":"2026-05-13T19:47:08","modified_gmt":"2026-05-13T19:47:08","slug":"crews-continue-battling-2-fires-in-broward-miami-dade-wsvn-7news-miami-news-weather-sports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/269850\/","title":{"rendered":"Crews continue battling 2 fires in Broward, Miami-Dade &#8211; WSVN 7News | Miami News, Weather, Sports"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>(WSVN) &#8211; Firefighters are continuing to get the upper hand on a multi-county fire fight. <\/p>\n<p>Flames <a href=\"https:\/\/wsvn.com\/news\/local\/broward\/crews-make-progress-on-massive-everglades-brush-fire-amid-wind-shift-concerns-blaze-80-contained\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">burning near the Everglades<\/a> in the area just off U.S.-27 in Pembroke Pines have burned over 11,000 acres and is 95% contained as of late Wednesday afternoon. <\/p>\n<p>Residents in the area can now breathe easier as the air quality continues to improve. <\/p>\n<p>Down <a href=\"https:\/\/wsvn.com\/news\/local\/miami-dade\/fire-crews-battle-multiple-fires-in-florida-city\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">south in Florida City<\/a>, a second brush fire continues burning.
