To your quarters\u2019 dismay, a new Winn-Dixie-shaped Aldi<\/a> opens in St. Petersburg next week\u2014the newest store in the grocery franchise\u2019s quest to convert 220 Winn-Dixies and Harveys Supermarkets to Aldis by 2027.<\/p>\n

Located at 3327 9th Street N, the new store will be St. Petersburg\u2019s fourth Aldi, occupying half of the former Winn-Dixie building.\u00a0<\/p>\n

For its opening day on Nov. 6, the store\u2019s first 100 customers will receive a gift bag of what the company calls\u00a0 \u201cAldi fan favorites\u201d and entry to a giveaway for a chance to win a $500 Aldi gift card through the weekend.\u202f<\/p>\n

The new St. Petersburg Aldi is among Tampa Bay\u2019s first Winn-Dixie converts, with one opening in South Tampa\u2019s Hyde Park in April.<\/p>\n
