(WFLA) \u2014 The St. Petersburg Police Department needs help identifying three men who may have information regarding a brutal attack.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The attack took place in the 200 block of 1st Avenue North in St. Petersburg.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">On May 10 at 2:25 p.m., a 34-year-old man was punched and rendered unconscious, according to the department.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Video taken the night of the attack shows the suspect as he attempts to attack a bystander immediately following the incident.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cThe three people of interest and the victim were talking. The victim turns around, walked away. We don\u2019t know the extent of that conversation. And then one of the guys followed him, punched him, and then kind of some another bystander attempted to look like he attempted to intervene. And then he tried to also hit him as well. He did not end up hitting him,\u201d said Ashley Limardo with SPPD.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Fortunately, the bystander was uninjured, St Petersburg police report.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Police want to hear from the three men involved, though one resident told 8 On Your Side she doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s likely they\u2019ll come forward.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cTurn themselves in? I would say probably not likely. And who knows?
