Trailways Camps held its annual \u201cI Am Special\u201d Camper Reunion & Birth Day Party on April 18 at the Sanibel Community Church on Sanibel. Two hundred and fifty campers, caregivers and volunteers celebrated camper birthdays and reconnections. Pastor Jeramie Rinne provided the welcome, and Steve Greenstein served as emcee. Board Chair Jerry Miller provided highlights from the past year and launched the new \u201cTrailways Camps Forward, Our Journey\u201d video. Grampy the Clown was present for games, music and dancing for the campers. Talent performances by the campers was a highlight. The Benjamin G. Miller \u201cJoyful Spirit\u201d Academy and Volunteer of the Year recognitions were revealed, and a respite raffle drawing was held for caregivers for a four-day, three-night stay. Sponsors included: Susen H. Berg, Captiva Chapel by the Sea, Florida Trust Wealth Management, Grampy\u2019s Charities, Sanibel Captiva Lions Club, Sanibel Community Church, and Shalimar Beach Resort.<\/p>\n
