(WINK)\u2014 The Housing Authority of the City of Fort Myers will open waitlists for all six of its Project-Based Voucher Program properties in Lee County on May 18.<\/p>\n<p>According to the press release, <a href=\"http:\/\/HACFM.org\/Find-Housing\/HCVP-Section-8\/.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">applications will be accepted online<\/a> only from 8 to 10 a.m. during the two-hour window. Eligibility is based on income requirements, and additional qualifications may apply depending on the property.<\/p>\n<p>Participating properties include Broadway Apartments, Covington Meadows and Stella Apartments for families. Coconut Grove Apartments, Latimer Crossing and Swanson Loop are available for seniors.<\/p>\n<p>These communities offer one-to five-bedroom units located throughout Lee County, including Cape Coral, Fort Myers, Lehigh Acres and North Fort Myers. Details on eligibility requirements can be found here.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants must complete the online application at <a href=\"http:\/\/Apply.HACFM.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Apply.HACFM.org<\/a> during the designated timeframe and select the properties for which they want to be considered.<\/p>\n<p>Units will be available on a first come, first served basis.<\/p>\n<p>A verification of preferences must be submitted within 14 days of application.
