{"id":271381,"date":"2026-05-14T21:11:09","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T21:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/271381\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T21:11:09","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T21:11:09","slug":"victim-recovering-after-north-miami-machete-attack","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/271381\/","title":{"rendered":"Victim recovering after North Miami machete attack"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0May 14, 2026 at 4:52 PM<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">NORTH MIAMI, Fla.  \u2014 Newly released video shows police arriving to the scene of an alleged machete attack. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">It happened Sunday afternoon in the area of Northeast 142nd Street and Sixth Avenue in North Miami.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said they arrived to the scene to find one man bleeding profusely from his hand while holding another man against a fence.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to authorities, the man bleeding, Bryant Toletino, is the victim in this case. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">He is even heard telling the suspect, 31-year-old Ariel Alvarez, not to act like the victim. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Police said Toletino was attacked by Alvarez with a machete.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities said the victim was visiting a friend and Alvarez was outside the apartment.
