Her dad is Magrus Borges, a Grammy-nominated drummer.<\/p>\n<p>Borges caught on to Blu\u2019s talent at a very young age.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen she was 6 years old &#8230; she just started singing,\u201d said Borges, widely recognized as one of the pioneers of bossa nova. \u201cI\u2019m looking to my wife and said, \u2018Wow.
