How it works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hialeah is offering <a data-ylk=\"slk:businesses one year of free rent;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/news\/2026\/04\/21\/miami-hialeah-best-city-start-business-wallethub-florida\/89712722007\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">businesses one year of free rent<\/a> \u2014 if they&#8217;re willing to move into a city-owned building.<\/p>\n<p>Under the <a data-ylk=\"slk:Palm Centre Business Opportunity Program;elm:context_link;itc:0;sec:content-canvas;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.hialeahfl.gov\/1198\/Palm-Centre-Business-Opportunity-Program\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Palm Centre Business Opportunity Program<\/a>, &#8220;local entrepreneurs and small businesses&#8221; will be able to establish storefronts at the city&#8217;s Palm Centre property, which is located at 240 E. First Ave. &#8220;Select businesses&#8221; could see their first year of rent covered, according to an Instagram post by the City of Hialeah and Mayor Bryan Calvo.<\/p>\n<p>The initiative is intended to &#8220;support new and growing businesses,&#8221; according to the website for the City of Hialeah Development Services.
