Driver fled on foot after crash, FHP says<\/p>\n

CHRISTMAS, Fla \u2013 Florida Highway Patrol troopers are looking for the driver in a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian, officials said.<\/p>\n
FHP said the crash happened about 5:10 a.m. Saturday in a wooded area in Christmas in Orange County, northeast of State Road 520 and south of State Road 50 (Colonial Drive).<\/p>\n
Troopers said the driver fled the scene on foot. <\/p>\n
The crash involved a 2020 GMC Sierra and a pedestrian. <\/p>\n
The pedestrian\u2019s identity has not been confirmed, and the person was pronounced dead at the scene, FHP said.<\/p>\n
The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n
Anyone with information is asked to call FHP at *347 or CRIMELINE at 1-800-423-TIPS.<\/p>\n
