The Miami Dolphins<\/a>‘ offense was dealt a devastating blow when wide receiver Tyreek Hill suffered an injury earlier in the season.<\/p>\n

In the Week 4 game against the New York Jets<\/a>, Hill suffered a dislocated knee<\/a> that will keep him sidelined for a significant amount of time.<\/p>\n

But is the injury going to keep him out for the rest of the season?<\/p>\n

Here’s what we know about the Dolphins star’s status for the remainder of 2025.<\/p>\n

Is Tyreek Hill out for the season?<\/p>\n

Yes, Hill is going to miss the rest of the 2025 campaign.<\/p>\n

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport<\/a>, not only did Hill suffer a dislocated knee, he also had multiple torn ligaments, which means a lengthy recovery process that puts his status for the start of the 2026 campaign in doubt.<\/p>\n

However, Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, noted that “everything was done with one procedure” after he had surgery and the goal is for him to be ready for 2026.<\/p>\n

It remains to be seen if Hill will still be suiting up for the Dolphins next season, though, and according to a report, he likely won’t be.<\/p>\n

CBS Sports’ Jonathan Jones reports that the expectation is Hill will be released<\/a> by the Dolphins in 2026.<\/p>\n

“The five-time first-team All Pro was in the second year of a three-year contract extension with Miami, and league sources expect the Dolphins to release Hill before the start of the next league year in March 2026,” Jones reported.<\/p>\n

While Hill figures to draw interest on the open market, one thing to keep an eye on is the league’s investigation into domestic violence allegations<\/a> against him from his estranged wife, Keeta Vaccaro.<\/p>\n

Until that investigation wraps up, teams will likely be hesitant to go after Hill, seeing as how he could face a suspension.<\/p>\n
