Carnival Mardi Gras cruise ship arrives at Port Canaveral on June 4, 2021.<\/p>\n
SEBASTIAN INLET, Fla.
\n \u2013 Carnival Cruise Line\u2019s Mardi Gras cruise ship rescued nine people from a vessel in distress.<\/p>\n
It happened Saturday off the coast of Sebastian Inlet, Florida. <\/p>\n
The ship\u2019s crew spotted the vessel displaying a distress flag, notified the U.S. Coast Guard, and safely brought all nine adults aboard,\u201c according to a statement from a Carnival Cruise Line spokesperson.<\/p>\n
The nine people remained in the ship\u2019s care until arrival in Nassau, Bahamas on Sunday afternoon.<\/p>\n
