Plans for the 5-acre parcel, done by Scheer Engineering<\/a>, show a 70-room hotel with a pool, a detached, 3,500-square-foot restaurant, and 158 parking spaces.<\/p>\n At an Osceola County Community Development pre-application meeting on Tuesday, Landon Scheer, principal at Scheer Engineering, told county staff that the owners are considering a bar\/restaurant. However, no tenant has been set yet, he said.<\/p>\n \u201cThey were talking about potentially it being one of those breweries that has a taproom and you can sit down and enjoy the atmosphere or a pub or some sort of bar\/restaurant combo,\u201d Scheer said.<\/p>\n The hotel would have 50 suites and 20 standard guest rooms. A single hotel entrance is planned for Westside Boulevard. The pool would be located at the rear of the property, giving guests a view of the surrounding wetlands, Scheer said.<\/p>\n If approved, the hotel would sit less than 10 miles southwest of Disney\u2019s Animal Kingdom in the Osceola County portion of the Four Corners<\/a> area. This stretch of Westside Boulevard is home to multiple resort communities like Windsor at Westside, Solara Resort<\/a>, Eden Garden and ChampionsGate.
