As South Florida prepares to welcome thousands of visitors from around the world, coordinated transportation planning remains central to delivering a seamless tournament experience. The partnership further positions Miami as one of the most accessible Host Cities, strengthening connectivity between downtown hospitality hubs, entertainment districts, and Miami Stadium.<\/p>\n<p>The FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122 will mark the first edition of the tournament to feature 48 teams competing across 104 matches in three countries. In Miami, seven matches, including a quarterfinal, and a bronze final, will take place at Miami Stadium, underscoring the importance of coordinated regional transportation planning.<\/p>\n<p>During the tournament, Brightline\u2019s Aventura Station\u2014the closest rail station to Miami Stadium\u2014will serve as one of four designated transportation hubs under the FIFA World Cup 2026\u2122 Mobility Plan (\u201cthe Mobility Plan\u201d). From there, fans with a valid match ticket will connect to designated stadium via shuttle services operating as part of the Mobility Plan, providing a structured and reliable transportation option for travel to and from matches. Fans without match tickets can also get in on the excitement by traveling to the FIFA Fan Festival via Brightline\u2019s MiamiCentral Station, a short walk to Bayfront Park where the tournament will be brought to life with live broadcast of matches, entertainment, food, interactive fan experiences and more.<\/p>\n<p>This integrated system is designed to support continuous, high-frequency movement of fans between regional transit hubs and the stadium campus.<\/p>\n<p>Fans traveling to matches will be able to:<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Board Brightline at any of the stations, including MiamiCentral in Downtown Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach or Orlando.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Arrive at Brightline Aventura Station via higher-speed rail service.<\/p>\n<p>\u25cf Transfer to Miami Stadium by shuttle services operating under the Mobility Plan (by showing a valid ticket to the match).<\/p>\n<p>Return service will operate in alignment with match schedules, supporting safe and orderly post-match departures.<\/p>\n<p>This coordinated transportation model reflects a multi-agency mobility strategy designed to reduce roadway congestion, enhance public safety, and improve the overall spectator experience while supporting environmentally responsible travel during peak tournament periods.<\/p>\n<p>As part of its role as an Official Miami World Cup 2026\u2122 Host City Supporter, Brightline will activate across official Miami World Cup 2026\u2122 Host City experiences, contributing to fan-facing programming and regional celebrations that enhance the quality of life for residents while delivering a seamless and memorable experience for visitors throughout the tournament period.<\/p>\n<p>By encouraging rail-based transportation and coordinated transit options, the Miami Host Committee and Brightline are advancing shared sustainability goals while reinforcing Miami\u2019s readiness to host a global sporting event of unprecedented scale.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, Brightline has provided dedicated office space at its MiamiCentral Station to support the activation of the Miami Volunteer Center.
