Lee Association for Remarkable Citizens (LARC) hosted its 8th Annual Aiming for Ability Clay Shooting Tournament on Friday, May 1, bringing together community members, sponsors, and outdoor enthusiasts for a day of friendly competition in support of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Presented by Grampy\u2019s Charities, the event took place at Sarasota Trap, Skeet & Clays in Nokomis and raised more than $50,000.\n<\/p>\n

Participants enjoyed a morning on the course followed by lunch, awards, and camaraderie, all while raising critical funds to support LARC\u2019s life-enriching programs and services.\n<\/p>\n

Top honors for the day included:\n<\/p>\n

1st Place Team: Sunset Air
\n2nd Place Team: DEWALT Superstore\/HWGA Supply
\n3rd Place Team: EHC Construction
\nTop Female Shooter: Kinsey Leonardi
\nOverall Top Shooter: Kory Lindenmayer<\/p>\n

About LARC\n<\/p>\n

Established in 1954, LARC is a training center for success for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.\u00a0 LARC serves more than 300 individuals annually, and participants range from 14 to 83.\n<\/p>\n
